SALES EXECUTIVE


Our client a leading manufacturing company is looking for a SALES EXECUTIVE
to promote the company's brand and image and to sell the company's products or services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas.

The External Sales Representative will reach his or her business targets through effective management of physical visits to customer sites.

This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s)/service(s) while onsite
  • Penetrate all targeted accounts and generate sales from within client base
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth
  • Monitor customer credit management with the credit department
  • Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue, by coldcalling if necessary
  • Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner
  • Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a timeefficient manner
  • Maintain and update customer records, including sales call reports, customer information, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation
  • Make frontline assessment of market conditions and advise company of findings
  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research
  • Educate customers on all products and be adept in using the catalogue, ensure that you are up to date with the latest information
  • The Full Customer Base is to be visited minimum once over a 2month period
  • Pull necessary reports and do follow up on quotations done
  • Classify customers into areas (trips) as well as groups, Wholesaler, Agent, Re-Seller etc
  • Get customers target driven
  • Service existing customers by providing information / resources which every they might need
  • Grow existing customers business
  • Close business while with the customer
  • Be proactive about your clients, know who the decision makers are
  • Client targets must be given to the client, both monthly and annual targets
  • Deadlines given are to be met, irrespective
  • Detailed market / customer feedback to be shared in sales meetings

  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas
  • Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, previsit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Selfmotivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 13 years' experience in Cable/Electrical Industry.
  • Solid experience in sales
