Responsibilities:

  • Draft Annual Financial Statement
  • Working with the auditors to oversee the audit process
  • Ensure the smooth and effective running of the Finance Department
  • Authorise Credit Agreements on behalf of the Schools Division after being vetted and approved by Group Legal
  • Ensure the Schools complies with IFRS and GAAP, group policies and statutory requirements
  • Ensures alignment of financial and operational policies and procedures across brands within the division which is in line with Group Requirements
  • Responsible for taxation of the company
  • Manage and forecast Cash flow of the Schools, with strong emphasis on working capital management
  • Take responsibility for the Internal audit review for Schools
  • Delegation and control of staff (Daily Management, Hiring of Staff, Appraisal of Staff)
  • Provides a support function to all other Schools' Division Head Office Teams and Group Finance & IT where necessary
