Experience & Qualifications:

4.1.1.      Mechanical Engineering diploma with at least 5 years of workshop management experience.

4.1.2.      Trade tested toolmaker/boilermaker/fitter & turner or millwright with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

4.1.3.      Proven experience in managing a workshop within the industrial manufacturing sector, particularly in HVAC-related environments.

 

4.2.  Skills & Competencies:

4.2.1.      Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

4.2.2.      Proficiency in production planning, resource management, and quality control.

4.2.3.      Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures applicable to workshop operations.

4.2.4.      Ability to read technical drawings and specifications, with the aptitude to plan and manufacture accordingly.

4.2.5.      Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

 

4.3.  Other Requirements:

4.3.1.      Computer literacy (basic proficiency in Word & Excel).

4.3.2.      Valid driver’s license (Code EC would be advantageous) and own vehicle.

4.3.3.      Willingness to work long hours when required.

4.3.4.      Entrepreneurial mindset with a “go-getter” attitude.
