We are looking for a new colleague to join the Supply Chain Management Department as an Inventory Planner at our location in Meadowdale, Johannesburg.

Key Purpose of the role: To align inventory levels with Demand forecats and Strategy, ensuring Customer satisfaction and maximizing sales. 

Your main tasks:

  • Forecast management - Develop and maintain accurate inventory forecasts by analysing customer sales dat and Netstock system forecatsts
  • Alignment of forecasts - Ensure Netstock forecast per item is in sync with the actual demand trends
  • Supplier Collaboration - Work closely with Buyers abd Suppliers to ensure lead times are managed to improve availability og high demand stock items
  • Inventory Optimisation - Regularlt review and adjust inventory targets/model stock/ safety stock to maintain the balance between meeting demand and minimising excess
  • Stock availability - Analyse and improve product availability, focussin on reducing instances of stocked-out items

   Your profile:

  •     Tertiary qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain preferred
  •     At least 3 years experience in demand/inventory planning
  •     Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data
  •     Proficiency in inventory management systems, Netstock advantage
  •     Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities
  •     Must have strong customer focus and service delivery orientation
