Our Client has an opportunity for an Internal Sales position at their offices in Pinetown.  A leading specialist company in the steel service centre industry, specialising in cutting, bending, and rolling of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium for a variety of industrial and manufacturing purposes.  

Duties and requirements include but are not limited to the following:

  • Previous experience in the metal industry, is essential
  • A passion for sales and meeting and exceeding customer expectations by understanding the clients' needs, objectives, and challenges and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential, new and existing clients.
  • Receive, read, and understand drawings from customers and compile quotations accordingly.
  • Attention to detail and must possess mathematical skills to ensure quotations and invoices are accurate and correct.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a bubbly personality and a positive attitude.
  • Be a team player.
  • Ensure all walk-in customers, incoming calls and emails and are attended to promptly, efficiently, and professionally.
  • Able to work under pressure to ensure that quotations are submitted to customers in a timely manner.
  • Must be computer literate with the complete Microsoft Office package. AutoCAD experience will be advantageous.
