Requirements:

Management Diploma  (Required), National Diploma in Medical Technology  (Required)

Required Experience:

5 years of management in a Pathology environment., Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge and understanding of people management practices (including training, motivating, and directing employees) to optimise workplace productivity and promote professional growth., Knowledge of employment legislation (BCEA, EEA, LRA, etc)., Knowledge of financial and business management, Knowledge of MS Office, Knowledge of OSH Act., Knowledge of the industry’s legal rules and guidelines regarding the transportation of medical specimens., Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities, Solid understanding of logistics management software, Thorough knowledge of Ampath and its products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Analysing data to monitor performance and plan improvements in logistics operations, Collaborating with other departments to ensure the optimal use of logistics, Continuously seeking ways to improve and optimise logistics processes for cost savings and efficiency gains., Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimise the flow of goods and materials., Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements related to logistics and transportation., Managing and coordinating the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction., Negotiating contracts with suppliers and customers to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs., Resolving any arising problems or complaints related to logistics processes., Selecting, managing, and maintaining relationships with transportation providers to ensure the swift and safe delivery of goods.
