About Our Client

Our client is an International Hotel Group.

Job Description

Develop and manage the hotel's annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish revenue and expense targets.Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and cost optimization.Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other relevant financial analyses.Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop pricing strategies and optimize revenue generation.Analyze market trends, competitive pricing, and demand patterns to recommend pricing adjustments and revenue enhancement opportunities.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards and corporate policies.Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with local tax regulations, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.Evaluate vendor contracts and negotiate favourable terms to optimise procurement processes and reduce costs.Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize inventory carrying costs and prevent losses.Assess the financial impact of capital expenditure projects and monitor their implementation and return on investment (ROI).

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA) may be preferred.Proven experience as a Finance Director, Financial Controller, or in a similar senior financial management role within the hotel industry.In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and standards.Excellent understanding of revenue management principles and pricing strategies.Familiarity with hotel operations, industry trends, and market dynamics.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
