Seeking an expat Financial Director to join a dynamic team in the heart of Ghana within the mining industry.

Purpose of the Job:
As our Financial Director, you'll play a crucial role in shaping financial strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Partner with the business to ensure that the financial strategy, policies, processes and budgets support the overall strategic direction of the business.
  • Comply with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure timeous submission and analysis of required financial information and reports e.g. financial, management and statutory reports, both IFRS and OHADA/SYSCOA.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • CA/CIMA or equivalent qualification
  • 8-10 years relevant financial experience, including minimum 3 years in management
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS or equivalent standards
  • Familiarity with financial policies, procedures, and processes
  • Sound understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks
  • Proficiency in SAP systems and MS Office suite
  • Advanced business report writing and presentation skills
  • Strong business risk management and strategic planning abilities
