What We’re Looking For:

The Marketing Automation Specialist requires specialized knowledge of our Marketing Automation Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SMFC). This role concentrates on building and refining email automations, and monitoring performance for the 2U portfolio of programs across multiple business areas. As a member of this team, you will help identify technical solutions, prototype, and test new email strategies. The specialist is responsible for following the standard quality assurance (QA) process to ensure error-free email automation deployment. Must have the ability to work on multiple changing priorities, and have a commitment to quality execution.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Deploy, maintain, and optimize email marketing automations in SFMC. Adhere to team workflow and process, global standardization of platform configuration, journey audience criteria setup, naming conventions, and asset organization. Partner and collaborate with stakeholder teams to help drive portfolio wide automation strategy, with the goal to increase email engagement and drive business value via ongoing testing and optimization. Monitor and report on email performance and audience data. Quality Control/Quality Assurance of automated emails and configuration. Monitor automations, quickly identify mechanical issues and drive a successful resolution. Ensure that correct journey audience entry and exit rules are configured. Manage automation documentation and all training materials for the email team related to SFMC, keeping them organized and up to date. Assist with admin related tasks in SFMC. Remain in-tune with new platform features and broader industry best practices.
