Responsibilities

Backup Flight Planner and/or Meteorologist, where applicable & qualifiedBackup to Supporting ServicesMonitors communications after normal business hours and on weekends upon implementation of the storefront operationsPerforms other duties as may be assigned by management.Helps other employees to accomplish company goalsWorking Hours: as determined by the Sr Director Global Operations

We operate 24/7 year-round.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Aviation Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred

Experience:

5 – 10 years preferred in the aviation industry (Must have either the educational requirements or the equivalent work experience)

Knowledge and ability to lead / backup operational shifts as backup shift supervisors/ shift managersLead an operational shift.Knowledge and ability to quality control operational flight plan packages regardless of business segmentsOrganize and facilitate operational service delivery/workload in the absence of shift supervisors and/or shift managers.Proven account management skillset of Trip Support customers demonstrating skills in customer acquisition, retention, maintenance, and/or gross profit growth.Act as the primary backup for tops tier accounts in the absence of primary trip support account managersDemonstration of people manager/customer management skillsetsCustomer Service:

Proven customer loyalty and following through strong customer management skills.

Work Quality:

High degree of attention to detail is a requirement of the position.

Industry Knowledge:

Complete understanding of all aspects of the industry, products, and services.

Travel requirements:

Some – Infrequent travel of short to moderate duration; typically does not include remote or hazardous locations; typically travel is to planned events or meetings.

Segment Specific:

Commercial / Military:Responsible and able to Flight Planning & Weather Briefing to customersCompetitive ability to create and prepare flight planning and weather package for customers with no supervision.Knowledge and ability to provide quality control of all customer-created packages prior to being delivered to customer(s)Coordinating and retrieving information to determine potential hazards impacting the safety of flight in determining proper routings.Loading customer-specific aircraft specifications into operational systemsUse of technical knowledge to evaluate and create future operational act routing to be flown by customers to ensure the safety of flightKnowledge of ATC regulations and understanding of flight planning systemsPPS8 , Air Inc, and/or Navblue

The Individual

Minimum education certificate at level 12 matric certificate is required.Aviation work experience is essential.
