The Affiliate Account Manager in Johannesburg will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting qualified affiliates and partners for our client, focusing on promoting our client’s brand in Africa. The role involves managing and growing relationships with these partners to meet aggressive new account and delivery goals across various channels.

Your key job responsibilities as the Affiliate Account Manager in Johannesburg, South Africa will include:

  • Developing commercial relationships with potential acquisition partners, including affiliates and media groups.
  • Retaining and activating the dormant base of affiliates.
  • Negotiating and reviewing commercial agreements with all partners to ensure optimal delivery.
  • Analyzing campaigns, reporting on ROI, and developing strategies to improve it.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with affiliates through regular communication.
  • Providing daily feedback to the line manager on existing deals and future deals.
  • Monthly reporting to the team and line manager on account performance.
  • Planning and organizing promotions to encourage affiliates and partners to generate acquisitions.
  • Managing earnings models and resolving any affiliate issues, concerns, or requests.
  • Coordinating back-end fulfillment with other departments, including Fraud Operations and Creative.


Requirements

Requirements for this Affiliate Account Manager job in Johannesburg, South Africa:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Affiliate Account Management and Affiliate Marketing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of client-facing experience in sales and/or account management.
  • Proficiency in banner advertising, SEO, SEM, Google AdWords, social media, mobile marketing, and e-commerce business development.
  • Understanding of online metrics, including key concepts such as CPA, CPM, ROI, and effective revenue share.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and knowledge of various sports and casino categories.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels and manage high complexity.
  • Innovation paired with excellent business acumen to identify or develop viable online marketing strategies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work across business divisions.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with a high degree of numeracy.
