Your tasks andresponsibilities:

·Plans and accomplishes roll out of EHS programs orprojects and monitors respective milestone in related organization.

·Analyses and monitors adherence to EHS standards inassigned organizations and prepares regular EHS reporting.

·Analyses and reports on changes in relevant EHS lawsand regulations and recommend changes for internal standards.

·Ensure and implements EHS related standards,guidelines and programs in specific EHS area’s

·Analyse work environment and proposes improvements toHead of Quality and EHS

·Keep abreast of industry legal trends specific to EHSand Quality topics

·Contributes to internal and external EHS & QTaudits, in support of accountable EHS officer & Quality Manager.

·Prepares regular external EHS reporting for officialauthorities, or for internal stakeholder.

·Initiate and escalate necessary activities ifdeviations are identified

·Ensure creation of adequate documents and records foraudits and inspections

·Support in drafting EHS policies and procedures andrequired submission to authorities and Internal parties

·Develop, recommends and monitor corrective andpreventive actions

·Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriateinvestigations and corrective actions

·Ensure ongoing compliance with EHS standards and

·Maintains operational contact to external authorities.

·Trains employees and management.

·Keeps abreast with all respective regulations andstandards in regional or local law.

·EHS topic competence, with keen interest to learn QTtopics

Your qualifications and experience:

·Qualification ISO14001, ISO45001 certified training

·2 plus years of experience in similar EHS role

·Proven experience in Quality/EHS systems and standards

·Minimum Technologies, strong computer/applications,Microsoft applications, outlook, teams, excel, word, SharePoint

Additional Requirements/ Your attributes and skills:

·Ability to clearly communicate in similar EHS role

·Ability to problem solve e.g CAPA root cause orincident investigations

·Confidence in communication and escalation tomanagement where & when necessary

·Ability to self-learn new, upgraded or updated technologyand standards/legislation promulgated

·A valid South African driver’s license and own car isrequired

·Ability to travel nationally as the need requires
