Our client, a leading private healthcare provider situated in Gauteng is currently seeking a skilled Head of Marketing to join their team. The incumbent will form part of a team that designs, develops and implements marketing and communication programs and to advertise the company's products / the brand and services and managing events and activations. This role is perfect for an energetic individual with a can-do attitude and deep appreciation for being involved in impactful work as there are exceptional growth opportunities in the business.

Description of the role:
  • Design, establish and embed effective and efficient marketing tactical plans, policies, processes and governance structures
  • Set goals and standards for marketing at Head Office and Hospitals to support the overall Marketing plans and strategies
  • Lead, manage and coordinate PR campaigns identifying opportunities to increase brand awareness, build trust, deliver value and capitalise on positive customer sentiment
  • Marketing project management 
  • Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
  • Coordinate and supervise the performance of direct reports
  • Monitor costs and expenses to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste
  • Establish reporting best practice for area of responsibility

Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in Marketing / Sales 

Required Experience: 
  • 5-10 years in Senior Marketing position 
  • Project Management 
  • Stakeholder Management 
  • Marketing policy development 
  • Understanding of Marketing in Healthcare in South Africa - non-crucial
