Position: Spa Therapist

Location: Stellenbosch

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professional and efficient delivery of various spa services, including body treatments, facials, massages, waxing, manicures, pedicures, gel application, and micro-needling.
  • Maintain and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Keep documentation and maintain clients' files on schedule.
  • Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Acknowledge and respond to customer queries, needs, and expectations.
  • Suggest and promote retail products or additional services.
  • Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with administration and report any arising issues.
  • Apply best practices and stay updated with market trends.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and preferences.
  • Understand social etiquette and formal service standards.
  • Be knowledgeable about all spa therapies and retail offerings.
  • Exhibit a problem-solving mindset and a "get it done" attitude.
  • Ensure that guests have the best possible experience and stay.
  • Provide treatments up to the highest standard.
  • Ensure all displays are fresh, clean, and eye-catching.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 and relevant qualifications (e.g., Masters Diploma in Aesthetician, ITEC, CIDESCO, or SAAHSP).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of spa therapist experience.

  • Practical experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures, waxing, face/body therapies, advanced facials, and holistic body treatments.

  • Passionate about healing and wellness.
  • Trustworthy and impeccably groomed.
  • Proficient in using computers.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
