The main purpose of the post will be to facilitate research data collection and linkage to appropriate care for participants, and to support the clinic with the additional workload created by the systematic offer of sputum and blood specimen collection for TB tests in the facility. Applicable COVID-related safety and infection prevention protocols must be adhered to.

First preference will be given to individuals who are a resident and a member of a homestead from within the Population Intervention Programme Study Area (PIPSA), The position is primarily based at Somkhele campus.

Overview of Duties 

• Enroll index TB patient at study clinics
• To interact with household members of TB patient’s resident inside and out of the demographic surveillance area
