MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12/Std 10 (NQF Level 4) is essential.
  • Electrical trade Certificate
  • Relevant 3 -year/N4 Diploma or equivalent in an engineering field
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience in commissioning, fault finding and repairs on Winders
  • Completed Impala winder modules will be advantageous.

  3. Analogue and Digital Variable speed drives
  4. Winder safety and control philosophies
  5. Hydraulics
  6. Knowledge of head gear, ropes and attachments, shaft & loading arrangement
  7. Winder and associated mechanical equipment.
  8. Fault finding skills.
  9. PLC training on Mitsubishi, CTI, Siemens and Code sys
  10. Computer Literacy
  11. Communication & interpersonal skills
  12. Technical ability
