Responsibilities:

Leveraging your proven extensive experience and knowledge, you will be responsible for achieving sales and profit goals while analyzing industry trends, developing strategies, and overseeing pricing, promotion, and product range management to optimize sales and profitability, in retail markets.Deliver sales and profit goals as established within Profit Plans.Evaluate attractiveness of identified Channel Partners, balancing Elanco Brand strategies with Channel cost / opportunity to expand access. Build sustainable business cases, gain internal alignment and resource allocation, before executing strategies.Create and execute an annual plan of promotional activities for all Retail accounts aligning to sales strategies and ensuring profitable sales growth (including joint business plan & roadmap).Align consistent brand experience across Retail channels, influencing and aligning with relevant Marketing colleaguesDrive sales profitably, optimizing financial performance through strong P&L management: Portfolio mix, trade funding mandates, profitable product propositions and continuous ROI analysis and improvement.Work collaboratively with Marketing to activate relevant channels Using analytical insights, influence channel development and promotions strategy decisions, and identify potential revenue streams across platforms.Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to create and implement best in class product content across all Retail platforms.Forecast Sales/Demand striving to attain min. 70% accuracyDevelop content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing pages development.Coaching and supervision of current PH sales force – to assist HOS.Regular business performance reviews presented to HOS PH and GM.Focus on the execution and delivery of value-added growth strategies within the e-commerce channel, you will take responsibility for gaining a deep understanding of customer needs, vision, mission, strategies, market insights and business drivers, whilst building strong commercial relationships with key CustomersRepresent the company in events, conferences etc.Ensure adherence to legal rules and guidelines – live the Elanco values

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor (BSc/BComm)an MBA preferred Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role, with a proven career track record.Ability to develop fact-based, persuasive arguments across diverse and complex business situations.Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication (written and verbal) skills.Strong analytical skillsAbility to work in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.Self-motivatedKnowledge of implementing digital marketing concepts such as SEO, social media, display, and affiliate channels.Maintain high standards of relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers.Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity.

You should be a strategic thinker with the ability to look from both channel & marketing perspectives and embody a business-ownership mindset with relentless pursuit of innovation and personal growth. Whilst you possess the proactiveness at being able to engage into the unknown/ untested territories, you are also not afraid to learn from failures in the pursuit of sustained ambitious goals.

Relevant experience in the Pet Health industry will be a strong advantage. You must have relevant e-commerce omni-channel sales experience.
