We are seeking a Motion Designer to be responsible for creating engaging and dynamic animations, videos, and motion graphics that enhance digital and marketing communications. This role requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of design principles and animation techniques to produce high-quality motion content that aligns with brand and messaging.

This position will operate within our Client's open and collaborative creative culture. This means all creative is shared early and often with the multi-disciplinary creative community. This will help ensure alignment and consistent evolution of our brand and holistic customer experiences.

What you will do:

  • Create visually compelling animations, motion graphics, and video content for various platforms, including web, social media, presentations, and events.
  • Develop storyboards and design concepts that align with project briefs and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to bring concepts to life through animation.
  • Generate innovative ideas and concepts for motion design projects that capture the audience’s attention and effectively convey the intended message.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in motion design and video production.
  • Ensure all motion content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual style.
  • Work with the branding team to develop and maintain motion design templates and assets.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any challenges.
  • Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant tools to create and edit motion content.
  • Maintain an organized library of motion graphics assets and project files.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in motion design or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other motion design software.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of motion design and video projects.
  • Experience with Adobe Workfront is preferred.
  • Experience using AI for content and generative creation.
  • Excellent understanding of animation principles, storytelling, and visual composition.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Experience working within and contributing to a Brand Design System.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess an in-depth working knowledge of designing to meet accessibility standards, ensuring all creative experiences and data visualizations are inclusive and compliant.
  • Editor with motion experience or motion designer with editor experience is a plus (but not a dealbreaker) as is a motion designer with some 3d (ideally cinema4D) experience.
