Purpose of the role

A driven and motivated marketing specialist who can work independently to execute marketing activities that include writing content, conducting industry research, assisting in the development of marketing collateral, digital marketing activities and other related internal marketing activities.

Minimum skills, knowledge required and requirements

  • 3+ years experience working in Marketing
  • Desirable Registrations: Marketing Coordinator MCSA, Marketing Practitioner MPSA and Chartered Marketer CMSA
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Digital Marketing
  • Strong written skills
  • Strong background in marketing procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exposure to dealing with clients
  • Solid background in online marketing
  • Content design and management
  • Sales support
  • Event management
  • B2B experience
  • Managed a marketing campaign (e.g. email campaign) from A to Z
  • Own transport
  • A portfolio showcasing your writing skills

Key performance areas

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to reach the target audience 
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimisation, advertising, events planning etc.)
  • Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimise accordingly
  • Support sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform marketing strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
  • Work in partnership with marketing suppliers (creative and lead generation) to develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all marketing and public-facing communications
