Intakes Clerk

United Packhouse in the Paarl area, is recruiting an Intakes Clerk. This job will entail working in the coldstore, capturing all relevant information into various ERP Systems. This is a seasonal role.

• Offloading delivered stock.
• Ensure stock are split according to varieties and orchards.
• Ensure stock weighing- put all received stock on a scale to weight it.
  
• Ensure fruit intake- capturing received stock into the system. Checks if quantities, weights phases and orchards are correct.
  
• Assisting in stock take- daily stock count to match fruit on ground (Coldroom) and in the system bin by bin before production starts.
  
• Fruit adjustment- system process to match the stock on the floor with what is in the system i.e. increase or decrease stock.
  
• Assist with lug counts- counts and splits per variety all the lugs received and delivered by grower to the packhouse.
  
• Compile lug reports - after receiving is done a report on the lugs is sent
  
• Return lugs back to the growers together with the required needed documents.
  
• Communication with grower if there are any discrepancies. Ensure Kgs are fixed when it is not matching.
  

• National Senior Certificate/ Grade 12
  
• Above average IT Skills and Maths Skills
  
• Knowledge of the stock systems and quality control principles
  
• Good Excel skills
