Packaging and Intake Clerk

United Exports Packhouse in Paarl, is currently recruiting for Packaging Clerks, inputting information into our NetSuite ERP System. This is a seasonal role.

Key Performance Outputs

Packaging
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly stock counts, stock management through Netsuite system.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- File invoices and purchase orders as well as verify the prices quoted with the prices charged.
- Verify all packaging material orders received and ensure that the orders are properly accounted for in Netsuite.
- Prepare and/or generate packaging material purchase orders as required.
- Generate and/or review inventory reports.
- Expedite and follow up with suppliers to schedule deliveries, resolve materials, value discrepancies, outstanding and overdue delivery of orders, warranty claims and damage and return of materials.
- Assist in the preparation of inventory and other reports for internal purposes.

Intakes
- Implementing & streamlining processes & SOP’s.
- Able to assist in Intake process where needed (EDI’s, Manual Intakes)
- Report any variances/discrepancies on Intakes which is not in accordance with actual delivery
- Follow-up with the grower any outstanding intakes
- Create and manage spreadsheets.
- Control the data probity by performing comparative analysis of different sources, ensure that the data that is being added into the system is in the correct format.
- Regularly update existing database system records.
- Produce reports

**Requirements**:

- Matric / Tertiary Qualification Advantageous
- Excellent IT Skills
- Previous experience in packhouse working environment
- Knowledge of the stock systems and quality control principles
- Able to work overtime when needed
- Own transport and a valid drivers license is a must have
