Senior Procurement Officer

Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled Senior Procurement Officer to join our client's team. As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process for our client. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop procurement strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate contracts with suppliers. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with procurement policies, maintain supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's objectives
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure competitive pricing
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, evaluation, and award of contracts
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical practices
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends and best practices
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, strategies, and best practices
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
• Experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
