Candidates who meet the minimum requirements are invited to apply:

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good people skills
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Own transport
  • Drivers’ license
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Handyman technical skills 
  • Experience in DIY or hardware environment

Duties will include:

Sales & Customer service:

  • Technical assistance/advice to clients
  • Quotes with technical calculations
  • Follow up on quotations

Yard:

  • Yard packing/display
  • General maintenance
  • Management of yard staff (5 people)

Fleet management:

  • Maintenance
  • Fuel management
  • Deliveries

Pre-Packs:

  • Pre-pack packing
  • Management of staff

Remuneration:

R 12 000 - R 15 000 basic, depending on experience
