Note: Candidate must be fluent in Afrikaans

The ideal candidate will be able responsible for the full functions of bookkeeping up to trial balance.
Responsibilities
· Supervise certain staff in the finance department.
· Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
· Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier ledger, customer ledger and general ledger.
· Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
· Reconcile bank accounts daily Assist with calculating inventory costing.
· Complete tax calculations and forms (VAT, EMP201, etc.)
· Enter data, maintain records and create reports.
· Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner.
· Maintain fixed asset register.
· Prepare monthly management accounts.
Requirements and skills
· Proven bookkeeping experience.
· Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
· Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
· Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
· Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
· Hands-on experience with spreadsheets.
· Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
· Proficiency in Pastel Partner and Sage 200 Evolution..
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Be able to supervise staff in the finance department.
Transport available daily from Annlin and Pretoria North, Pretoria
