Job Description Job Purpose
To supplement the skillset and offering of the existing SLR Africa Mine Waste and Geotechnical Engineering teams.
Qualification& experience Senior Civil Engineering Technologist/ Engineer with 5-10 years' experience in the tailings industry Experience with general engineering design project management, construction contract administration and site supervision Proficient in Word, Excel and Geo-Slope/Slide Must be willing to travel Professionally registered with ECSA (PrEng) would be an advantage Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Monitoring/ surveillance Design of all levels of tailings facilities and related infrastructure Site CQA work Costing Reporting Assistance with key client work

Sound writing and communication skills Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong mentoring skills Strong organisational and planning skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Project management skillsSLR’s approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
