We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our Mining Infrastructure Department in Johannesburg.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing civil design mine infrastructure projects, including storm water management infrastructure (dams, canals), bulk earthworks (terraces and platforms), roads (gravel, mine haul roads, dragline walkways), mine waste disposal facilities, tailings facilities and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the design team

Requirements:

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • BEng. BSc. Eng. Civil Engineering or higher degree
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Good understanding and knowledge of soil mechanics
  • Experience in designing mining-related infrastructure
  • Civil 3D skills
  • Professionally registered with ECSA (#J-18808-Ljbffr)

**Salary Information:** The estimated salary for this role is between R1,200,000 and R2,000,000 per annum, depending on experience.
