About the Role:

We are recruiting for an experienced and highly competent Scrum Master to join a dynamic and innovative team within a fast-growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in Agile project management, facilitating effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams. This role requires someone who has a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, strong organizational skills, and the ability to foster an Agile mindset to drive team success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Guide and coach the team on Agile practices and principles to promote self-organization and high-quality output.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the teams alignment with the product vision, roadmap, and goals.
  • Remove obstacles that may hinder the teams progress, proactively addressing potential blockers to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and team morale.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear and effective communication across all stakeholders.
  • Continuously support and refine Agile processes to ensure optimal project flow and efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educational Background: 
    • Bachelor's Degree (BCom) in Project Management or a related field.
  • Experience: 
    • 3-4 years of proven experience working as a Scrum Master in a professional setting.
  • Technical Competency: 
    • While coding is not required, a solid understanding of software development processes is essential. 
    • Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or similar) and methodologies.
  • Skills and Attributes:
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with an emphasis on detail and quality.
    • Ability to foster a collaborative and Agile team environment.
