As an infrastructure partner, we cater to various marketverticals across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EMEA Region) with apresence in around 14 countries. Our solutions cover battery storage, combinedcooling/heat/power, demand flow, e,hydrogen, Solar PVs, Ventilation, Monitoring & Control, and digitalservices.

Role Headline

As a Commercial Project Manager, you will manage financial andcommercial aspects of local and international RSS EPS EMEA Contracts. You willwork with the Bid and Project Execution management teams to execute projectswithin Siemens guidelines, ensuring customer satisfaction and continuouslyimproving contract profitability. Your responsibilities will include detailedfinancial analysis, contract reviews, management reporting, budgeting, andforecasting. You will also be responsible for ensuring standards and lessonslearned are implemented for projects in other countries with the sameEnterprise Customers. The position will be based in Siemens South Africa,Midrand. Hours and location based on local guidelines.

Responsibilities of the Role

•Implement and manage standard policies, processes, andprocedures, ensuring compliance with LoA guidelines.

•Ensure project books and records' accuracy, includingrecording them in appropriate systems like SAP, ensuring compliance withSiemens Financial Reporting Guidelines, local GAAP requirements, andinternational and local contracts.

•Coordinate project reporting and controlling activitiesin contracts/projects under your scope.

•Ensure financial results align with set targets,optimizing project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments.

•Actively communicate with customers' commercialrepresentatives and manage solving commercial/finance issues.

•Identify, evaluate, and assess risks and opportunities,strategies, and response activities, taking full responsibility for allcommercial risks and opportunities.

•Act as finance partner to Bid Managers and ProjectManagers in your area of responsibility.

What do I need to qualify for this role?

•At least 6 years’ experience as CPM/WPC and C Certifiedin Siemens (B Certification is a plus)

•International commercial project management and financeexperience

•International mobility in an agreed framework

•Siemens business processes, policies and proceduresknowledge

•Project planning, structuring and risk management

•Calculation methods / Finance models / Forecasting /Project controlling (including customs, logistics, and export control) / Claimand Contract management

•Accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP), tax, insurances,Permanent Establishment, NCM, hedging

•Leadership, teamwork, collaboration skills, goodcommunication and negotiation skills

•Multicultural team working experience

•Full professional proficiency in English, secondlanguage is a plus

•Experience in Corporate Functions and differentBusiness Units

•Commercial Experience in different markets (e.g.Americas, Europe, Asia, etc.)

•Proven experience in Performance Controlling, Sales andProject Execution

•Former participant in Company talent programs is a plus
