Description

This role delivers client service by taking inbound calls and making outbound calls in adherence to procedural, productivity and quality standards. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.

Deals with debtors telephonically or correspond via email in adherence to procedural, productivity and quality standards. 

Experienced in working with Debtors who are 3 months or more in arrears.

Ability to achieve monthly collections targets of R200 000 and more on new arrangements.

Ability to stay focused and effective in a high-pressure environment.

High level of understanding of Pre-legal and Legal processes and arrangements eg: S129, Summons, S58, Judgment and Execution processes.

Understanding of statutory rules such as prescription, in Duplim and Write-off.

Exercise persuasive skills in guiding debtors toward a solution by conducting an extensive affordability assessment.

Extensive knowledge with regards to various Tracing Tools available.

Takes inbound and makes outbound calls, affecting outbound calls following a predetermined schedule. 

Ability to operate Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook to be able to operate effectively.

Finalises calls at the point of contact.

Ability to deal with complex customer queries.

Exercise persuasive skills in guiding clients towards settling the Outstanding Balance or rehabilitation of accounts.

A highly motivated individual with an impeccable work ethic who is accountable and will treat our debtors with the necessary integrity, dignity and respect.

A strong support role involves sharing of information and convincing clients of an appropriate course of action to resolve queries.

Minimum criteria:

Minimum of 2 years experience dealing with Legal and/or Pre Legal collections at a financial institution or Debt Collector.

Matric Certificate

Fluency in multiple languages preferred ( (Sotho, Zulu, Xhosa, Afrikaans).

Ability to communicate with clients on online platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Extensive knowledge of Debi Cehck and experience in obtaining authenticated Debi Check mandates
