Sales Reporting Analyst required for a reputable company based in East London , Eastern Cape 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or sales analytic roles.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite Oracle Dynamic 365), Microsoft Excel, and database management tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and forecasting methods is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and forecasts.
  • Maintain product and pricing information on customer portals and internally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and support strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies and positioning.
  • Provide recommendations for pricing optimization, product mix, and territory allocation.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular performance updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies, including target setting and incentive programs.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required
