Procurement Specialist

RPO Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join a well-established Food and Beverages company based in Olifantsfontein. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for the organization.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of the organization
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
• Monitor and analyze market trends, assess supplier performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet the procurement needs of the organization
• Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Food and Beverages industry
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
