Briefer / Debriefer

Overall Role Function:

The overall objective of briefer/debriefer role is to ensure the timeous delivery of loads

Key Accountabilities:

• Tracking – on route monitoring
• Monitoring of route progress
• Loading & Offloading (Driver brief and de-brief)
• Maximum utilization of vehicles, planning of loads, routes, and fuel.
• Ensure assets and staff comply with all statutory and legal requirements
• Accident / Incident investigation and submission of all documentation.
• Administrative duties and Document control.
• Solving queries and problem-solving
• Ad hoc duties as and when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Tertiary qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain Management advantageous
• Previous working experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
• Passion for Transport & Logistics
• Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
• Work independently and without supervision
• Self-driven, multitask and excellent interaction skills.
