Position Title - Briefer/Debriefer

Overall Role Function:
The overall objective of the briefer/debriefer role is to ensure the timely delivery of loads.

**Responsibilities**:
Key Accountabilities:

- Tracking - on-route monitoring
- Monitoring of route progress
- Loading & Offloading (Driver brief and de-brief)
- Maximum utilization of vehicles, planning of loads, routes, and fuel.
- Ensure assets and staff comply with all statutory and legal requirements
- Accident / Incident investigation and submission of all documentation.
- Administrative duties and Document control.
- Solving queries and problem-solving
- Ad hoc duties as and when required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Tertiary qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain Management is advantageous
- Previous working experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
- Passion for Transport & Logistics
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
- Work independently and without supervision
- Self-driven, multitasking, and excellent interaction skills

- Authority/ Decision Making
- Limited decision-making

Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain Management is advantageous
- Computer Literacy (MS Office, Outlook)

**Experience**:

- Specific industry experience beneficial.

- Must be honest, reliable and trustworthy.
- Be willing to work flexible hours.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: R13,000.00 - R17,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kraaifontein, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)
