We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is capable of building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships, facilitating communications, and coordinating activities among our current and prospective clients to join our internal team. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for helping the company obtain better brand recognition.

Key Accountabilities and Outputs

Management 

  • Conduct research to identify opportunities in the current, new markets and determine customer needs.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s products & services to prospective clients.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Build longstanding successful relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address clients’ needs
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Working towards Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets
  • Manage all social media platforms
Skills and Attributes
  • Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques; Medical recruitment industry knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Relationship Manager
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A customer-oriented attitude
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Reliability, honest and leadership skills
  • Discretion and respect for confidential information
Qualifications and Experience
  • Entry level qualification equivalent to Grade 12 / NQF4 qualification
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience working in Business Development Management
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office – Excel, Word
  • Previous experience on a CRM system (Placement Partner advantageous)

  • Valid drivers' license. 
  • Clear criminal record.
