The Debtors Clerk is responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, which includes invoicing customers, tracking payments, and ensuring timely collections.

  • Maintaining accurate bookkeeping and records of payments
  • Contacting companies or people owing money and making follow-up calls
  • Resolving all debtor queries and issues
  • Credit checking and invoicing
  • Assisting with administration of debit orders
  • Issuing receipts and statements
  • Ensuring that all payments are collected on time and in a professional manner
  • Preparing regular and ad hoc reports

Matric

Formal Accounting/Finance qualification (Advantageous)

Fluent in Afrikaans and English

Own reliable transport

2+ years Debtors Clerk experience

Accounting industry (Firm) experience
