Hire Resolve is seeking a talented Electrical Draughtsman to join our client, a prominent engineering firm located in Pretoria. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce high-quality electrical drawings and schematics using advanced CAD software.
  • Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and deadlines.
  • Review and modify designs based on feedback and changes in project scope.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed documentation, including design reports and equipment lists.
  • Maintain organized files and records of all drafts and revisions.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsman.
  • Strong proficiency in MicroStation
  • Experience in electrical transmission and distribution space
  • Eskom experience
  • Solid understanding of electrical design principles, systems, and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  • A relevant diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
