Overview

Hire Resolve is seeking a talented Electrical Draughtsman to join our client, a prominent engineering firm located in Pretoria. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals.

Responsibilities

- Develop and produce high-quality electrical drawings and schematics using advanced CAD software.
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Review and modify designs based on feedback and changes in project scope.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including design reports and equipment lists.
- Maintain organized files and records of all drafts and revisions.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsman.
- Strong proficiency in MicroStation
- Experience in electrical transmission and distribution space
- Eskom experience
- Solid understanding of electrical design principles, systems, and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
