A Day in the Life

As a Lancôme Makeup Artist, you will be a brand ambassador, using your expertise and passion to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales. This dynamic role blends artistry, consultation, and education to create a welcoming and luxurious environment for every client.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Experience & Sales:

Provide personalized makeup consultations and services, showcasing artistry and product knowledge to create a luxurious and engaging client experience. Achieve brand sales targets by recommending and demonstrating products, employing effective cross-selling techniques, and converting consultations into sales. Build and maintain a loyal clientele through personalized interactions, expert advice, and follow-up to cultivate lasting relationships. Proactively book makeup consultations and services to maximize client engagement and drive sales performance.

Artistry & Expertise:

Demonstrate mastery of makeup application techniques, including day-to-day looks, special occasion styles, and trend-driven applications. Possess expert knowledge of Lancôme's product range (features, benefits, usage), confidently educating clients on skincare and fragrance offerings to maximize sales opportunities. Stay abreast of current beauty trends, techniques, and competitive products to maintain a cutting-edge skillset and provide relevant recommendations. Assist in the design and development of service rituals and specific makeup techniques to enhance the client experience.

Training & Team Collaboration:

Act as a mentor and trainer for new and existing Beauty Advisors, providing on-the-job coaching and guidance on makeup application, brand image, and client service. Support classroom training sessions by demonstrating makeup techniques, sharing expertise, and fostering skill development within the team. Perform assessments of Beauty Advisors on counter Partner with Counter Managers and Flagship Managers to provide targeted training and support, ensuring a consistently high standard of artistry and service.

Operations & Merchandising:

Ensure the counter and makeup stations are impeccably maintained, reflecting Lancôme’s brand image of luxury and sophistication. Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising to create an appealing and well-stocked environment. Utilize the POS (MARS) system effectively, processing transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to all company procedures. Implement brand CRM procedures to recruit new clients, gather data, and build loyalty within the Lancôme community. Handle customer complaints with professionalism and empathy, striving for timely and satisfactory resolutions to maintain brand reputation.
