Role description:

  • Origin Financial is seeking experienced financial advisors located in Western Cape (specifically Cape Town and the Garden Route district). We offer flexibility and follow a hybrid workplace model. Our advisors are supported by an in-house dedicated team of administrators and para-planners.
  • As a financial advisor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning, offering expert advice on finance, retirement planning, investment, and financial advisory services.
  • You will work closely with clients to develop customized solutions to meeting their financial goals and objectives.


Requirements


  • Have a thorough understanding of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act and Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA).
  • Regulatory examination successfully completed and registered with Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) for more than 24 months.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial planning principles and investment strategies.
  • CFP or Post diploma in Financial Planning advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients.
  • Passionate about providing the best financial services and advice to clients.
  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships with clients and communicate complex financial advice.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years DOFA and supervision completion.
