A  dynamic commercial printing company, specializing in both litho and digital printing, that services a niche market with a focus on high quality and quick turnaround times, is seeking an experienced and mechanically minded individual to join our team.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a large format finisher
Proficiency with imposition and RIP Software
Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro

Duties:
Operate large format solvent, latex, and inkjet printers.
Operate UV flatbed printers.
Operate sheet-fed digital colour and black & white machines.
Pre-flight and impose/rip jobs for large format printers.
Adjust colour for accuracy and consistency.
Monitor the operations of digital printing machines to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments for optimal quality.
Calibrate machines and apply settings for optimal quality and performance.
Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of printing machines.
Coordinate vendor repairs and order parts and consumables.
Order and maintain large format stock and consumables.
Finish large format printing including application, weeding, and cutting.
Assist with general finishing tasks related to the press and the print process.
Assist walk-in customers with their printing needs.
