Our client a leading manufacturer of Perspex Retail Display Products in Athlone, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Factory Foreman to oversee operations at their factory. This position offers an opportunity to lead the production team and manage factory operations in a hands-on capacity. REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5 years' experience in a similar field, with knowledge/experience in Perspex, Wood, Vinyl, and Signage manufacturing
  • Own transport
  • Time management skills
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • Experience with MS Office
DUTIES:
  • Plan and organize production schedules
  • Assess project and resource requirements
  • Estimate, negotiate, and agree on budgets and timescales with clients and managers
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Determine quality control standards
  • Oversee production processes in a hands-on manner
  • Re-negotiate timescales or schedules as necessary
  • Select, order, and purchase materials
  • Organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
  • Liaise with buyers, marketing, and sales staff
  • Supervise and manage the work of junior staff
  • Organize relevant training sessions
 
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 17:00, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed
