Hire Resolve is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Plant Engineer to join our client's team in the Mining & Metals industry. As a specialist Recruitment firm, we are dedicated to finding the perfect match between our candidates and clients.

As the Plant Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of plant equipment within the mining industry. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of maintenance programs, coordinating with other departments to optimize plant performance, and managing equipment reliability. Additionally, you will be expected to provide technical expertise and support to enhance plant productivity while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor compliance to safety regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to plant personnel.
  • Prioritize and plan maintenance activities, minimizing downtime.
  • Control maintenance expenses within budgetary limits.

Requirements

  • National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • GCC Mines and Works
  • Minimum of 10 years experience as a Plant Engineer in the mining industry.
  • Strong knowledge of plant equipment and maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the mining industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant software and technical tools used in plant maintenance.
