Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Location: West Coast InlandIndustry: Agriculture / AgriTechType: Full-time Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join a fast-growing startup in the agriculture industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to deliver actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across the business. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including operations, engineering, and management—you will design and maintain BI dashboards, identify performance trends, and provide recommendations to optimize processes and enhance efficiency. Key Responsibilities Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to generate actionable business insights. Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI. Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization across operations and supply chain activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions. Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in reporting and analytics. Continuously improve data models, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. Prior experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar analytical role (preferred). Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI (experience with other BI tools is a plus). Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Knowledge or exposure to supply chain, operations, or agriculture processes is advantageous. A proactive, adaptable mindset with eagerness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
