St Cyprian's School is seeking a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Assistant to join our vibrant Pre-Primary team from January 2026.

We're looking for someone who delights in the wonder of early childhood — a caring presence who can nurture curiosity, encourage independence, and support the class teacher in creating a joyful and stimulating learning environment.

Minimum Requirements
  • A relevant ECD qualification (or currently studying towards one).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for learning through play and holistic early childhood development.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a genuine love for working with young children.
  • Be patient, kind and attentive to each child's social, emotional and developmental needs.
  • Assist the teacher in preparing and maintaining a safe, creative and engaging classroom — indoors and outdoors.
  • Bring energy, initiative and a spirit of teamwork to daily activities, routines, and creative play.
  • Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Have prior experience in an early childhood setting.
