Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems onboard the cruise ship

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential issues

- Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions and performing necessary repairs

- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working on board the vessel

- Communicate effectively with other crew members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks

- Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts and supplies

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a maritime or industrial setting

- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Willingness to work in a physically demanding and potentially hazardous environment

- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary certifications and licenses as required

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
