Transport Manager (Night Shift)

Fox Transport, a leading staff transport provider in Cape Town, is seeking a dedicated Transport Manager to oversee evening operations and ensure our clients receive safe, reliable, and efficient transport service around the clock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all night shift operations, ensuring punctual dispatching and trip coordination.
  • Supervise and support drivers and on-site coordinators across multiple routes, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and client requirements.
  • Handle incident reports, breakdowns, delays, and absenteeism promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor trip schedules, maintain communication with coordinators and clients, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare detailed nightly operation reports for management review.
  • Liaise with day shift teams to ensure smooth handovers and operational continuity.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Cape Town routes and transport operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple vehicles and drivers simultaneously.
  • Proficient in report writing and basic computer literacy.
  • Must be willing to work night shifts (18h00 – 06h00).
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport required.
  • Advantageous: experience in a staff transport management or logistics supervisory role.
