to join our dynamic team in the southern suburbs of Cape Town. The successful candidate will be involved in
both mechanical and electrical product and machine design
, as well as
maintenance and system development
. This is a diverse and challenging role for someone who enjoys seeing projects through from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical and electrical systems and products
  • Work on machine design, prototyping, and testing
  • Program and commission PLC and VFD systems
  • Maintain and improve existing systems and equipment
  • Contribute to aesthetic and functional product design
  • Perform hands-on physical work when required

Qualifications

  • Relevant
    degree or diploma in Mechatronic, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • Proven
    experience in mechatronic or related engineering roles
  • Strong
    CAD design
    skills (SolidWorks or similar)
  • Knowledge of
    PLC and VFD setup and programming

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in
    electrical and electronic systems
  • Excellent
    mechanical design
    ability and technical problem-solving skills
  • A good
    eye for design and aesthetics
    is a strong advantage
  • Must be
    based in or near Cape Town's southern suburbs
  • Practical, detail-oriented, and creative
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Comfortable working in both
    design and workshop environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
