A Branch manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all branch operations. Their primary duties including hiring, training and supervisor staff, coming up with strategies to improve performance and productivity levels and attracting new partners and customers as well retaining existing ones. Branch Managers ensure that all employees handle their customer's activities in a fair, accurate and profitable way, following high ethical standards when carrying out financial transactions.

  • Monitoring budgets and motivating staff to attain objectives.
  • Maintaining detailed computerized records and reporting all branch office activities and operations, including the performance of employees.
  • Communicating and collaborating with colleagues from other branch offices and meeting with clients to resolve complaints or issues and getting their feedback.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Providing training and coaching to employees when required.
  • Work closely with regional managers.
  • Preparing monthly reports.
  • Seeking new business opportunities and staying current with the market.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Grade 12
  • A tertiary qualification in Business management or equivalent experience
  • Proven management experience
  • Computer Literate
  • Driver's license
  • Own car essential
