Inviting applications for the role of Rebates and Pricing Controller – Senior Manager – English – Onsite  Johannesburg
Responsibilities

•    Perform a monthly / quarterly recon on 172 Modern trade customers – actual payments vs accrual. 

•    Capture all agreements on MSD (Pricing Management to approve the rebates)

•    Ensure all submissions to the Credit department are in line with RACM controls

•    All rebates are approved and signed off by the Country Lead\: Commercial Policy - After the resource has done a complete check of the KAM submission to the Credit team

•    Vet and confirm all submissions to the credit department are not over / under stated 

•    Create / communicate all rebate numbers to customers / KAMs – to assist with AR allocations and accrual Balance sheet amounts required

•    Reduce / eliminate all rebate disputes / claims

•    Match rebate numbers to payment requests

•    Investigate and provide explanations should customers / payment requests from KAMS be greater than the rebate accruals 

•    Ensure accruals raised in the Balance sheet balance to the claims due by Modern trade customers

•    All "over & above" activities need to be captured on a "Over & above" tracker – trackers need to be maintained and controlled

•    Ensure that RACM controls are adhered to

•    Maintain and Control tracker to ensure visibility is provided to KAMS on claims due vs actual payments processed

•    Comply to segregation of duty controls

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred 

•    Clear credit record / may not be under debt review

•    Prior experience in accounts receivable or collections

•    Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

•    Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred qualifications/ Skills 

•    Experience in SAP & D365 is an added advantage
