The purpose of this role is to search for additional opportunities (dealers) in the market, and drive sales through promoting the Bosch power tools brand. The main goal is to establish additional potential in the market with new and smaller dealers. Also focusing on Mpumalanga area, The rep will be responsible for several dealers in an allocated area. In addition to acquiring new dealers the rep is also responsible for maintaining the relationship and service level of existing Bosch clients (dealers) as well as increasing sales and maintaining the Bosch representation in store as per client and Business objectives.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: This is not a full and inclusive list.
Turnover growth with the current dealers.
Setup additional, new dealers in each allocated region.
Organizing dealer and user events (demonstration of Bosch tools)
Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to the client and iRam CRM.
Weekly meeting with Bosch management and ASM.
Payment Collection
Dealing with existing Bosch PT dealers.
Register dealers on the Bosch PT B2B portal
Maintaining and building supplier and client relationships
Manage brand presence in store as per client objectives
Ensure brand is correctly displayed and visible
Drive new product lines in store
Negotiate space and setups where required
Deliver in clients marketing requests and activations
Ensure client objectives are reached
Meet sales and new business targets
DESCRIPTION
- Turnover growth with the dealers the sales rep is responsible for
- The rep is expected to setup additional, new dealers in each region. There are numerous smaller hardware stores, which currently do not deal with Bosch PT directly or not at all.
- Where complete regions are handled by the agency (Durban SC & Mossel Bay area), existing Bosch dealers will be taken over for regular servicing (visits, promo & growth discussions, after sales service, etc.)
- Organizing dealer and user events (demonstration of our tools)
- Daily alignment of reps' tasks with ESP
- Weekly progress report shared with Bosch PT
- Monthly reports shared with Bosch PT
- Create weekly planners
- Give daily feedback of trade activity to line manager to identify gaps & see how iRam can offer more to their clients.
- Weekly meetings between Bosch and appointed sales reps
- Weekly meetings between sales rep and iRam internal stakeholders.
- Payment collection support from dealers might be needed e.g. reminders on open payments, discussion of payment plans
- Bosch PT runs a B2B online portal which is accessible to all customers. The agency is expected to get all customers to sign up and use the B2B portal. The agency's team will also get access to the portal.
- Providing add on services to client on a case-by-case scenario.
- Ensure all CRM / KAMS are kept in constant communication with ad hoc requests to manage expectations effectively.
- Attend client training session as and when needed.
Desired Experience & QualificationSales experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a setting of a similar industry i.e. Power tools sales / retail / merchandising/ hardware
Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
Must have own car.
Preferably reside in Mpumalanga
Package & RemunerationFrom 13, ZAR) per month
